The moment had come for Paridhi's bidai. Her face showed no emotion, and her eyes looked empty as she watched her family.

Then her mother wrapped her arms around her, pretending to be very sad, and started crying loudly. Drama!!

Paridhi gently pulled away and said,

"Now we donโ€™t have any family left."

Her voice was calm, catching everyone off guard.

She walked toward the car where Abhimaan was waiting. As she got closer, a guard opened the door for her, and she offered him a small smile.

Paridhi settled next to Abhimaan. Just as the guard was about to close the door, Abhimaan told him coldly, making the guard shudder.

"Go."

The guard nodded and left, leaving them alone. Paridhi looked at Abhimaan, confused.

He suddenly opened the car door, walked around to her side, and gently lifted the dupatta from her lehenga, which was dragging on the ground.

He placed it in her lap before returning to his seat. His expression was blank, as it always was.

The sight shocked everyone. They could hardly believe what they were seeing.

Incredible!

Yashvi punched Shivansh in the arm, causing him to yelp.

"What are you doing, Yashu?" he asked.

"Shiv, was that really Bhaisa?" Yashvi responded, looking astonished.

Shivansh rubbed his arm, seeming dazed.

"I can't believe it either."

Meanwhile, Maithili whispered something to her husband, Abhimanyu, as they watched from a distance.

"Look at them, Abhimanyu. Paridhi is a treasure. For the first time, I see real emotion in Abhi's eyes."

Abhimanyu nodded, smiling gently.

"Yeah, Maithili. She truly is."

As the car drove away, Paridhi looked back at her family for the last time.

Her mother's fake tears, her father's calm face, and her brother's smirk stayed with her.

She knew everything would change, but she was also feeling an unexpected sense of freedom.

Then Abhimaan pressed a button, raising a wall between their seats and the driver.

He reached out, took Paridhi's hand, and gave it a comforting squeeze, surprising her.

Seeing her expression, Abhimaan wanted to pinch her cheeks but stopped himself.

He spoke softly, aware she was sensitive and might cry if he raised his voice.

How did he know that?

Well you'll find out later.

"I know itโ€™s hard to leave your family behind, but you can visit whenever you want, so donโ€™t be sad or cry," he said, gently wiping away the tears that Paridhi hadnโ€™t even realized were falling.

"Hmm," she replied quietly.

She chuckled to herself. Only she understood what was really happening.

They soon reached the Raj Mahal. A bodyguard opened the door for Abhimaan.

He stepped out, adjusted the shawl on his Sherwani, and stopped the guard from opening Paridhi's door.

Instead, Abhimaan came over and opened her door himself. Paridhi was taken aback.

He extended his hand to help her because her lehenga was heavy. She felt confused when she heard him laugh.

Her face flushed when he said,

"Aapka hame marne ka irada hai kya?"

[Are you trying to kill me?]

She looked around but avoided his gaze.

"Here," he said, pointing to his hand.

She took his hand and stepped out. Then she saw the palace.

Even though she had seen pictures, its true beauty amazed her.

Suddenly, one of Paridhi's heels broke, and she cried.

"Ahhh!" Abhimaan, holding her hand, looked worried and asked,

"What's wrong, Pari?"

"My ankle is sprained," Paridhi replied, trying to hold back tears.

Abhimaan said nothing and scooped her up in his arms, surprising everyone even more.

Some guests whispered among themselves, their tones low but sharp.

"Look at that! The new queen hasnโ€™t even been here an hour, and already the King is doing whatever she wants. Who knows what sheโ€™ll make him do next?"

Their words dripped with doubt and a hint of envy. But Maithili, watching her son from afar, felt her heart swell with joy.

She noticed how Abhimaan looked at Paridhi, the tender way he watched her was something she had never seen before.

When she overheard the guests, Maithili turned to them, her face shining with happiness and her eyes glistening with joyful tears.

"Hm. You donโ€™t understand," she said, her voice soft and heartfelt.

"My heart is so full watching my son do what my daughter-in-law wants. For years, my Abhimaan was like ice, distant and closed off. But see him now!"

She paused, smiling gently at Abhimaan and Paridhi.

"In just a few hours, that ice has melted. My once-cold son is laughing and smiling! How could I not be happy?"

The women sat quietly after hearing Maithili's genuine words.

Maithili smiled as they reached the door. Abhimaan carefully set Paridhi down, holding her hand and resting his other arm on her waist to help her stay steady because of her injury.

Maithili performed a small religious ceremony for them using a tray. She placed a pot of rice in front of her and gently instructed Paridhi,

"Slowly lower this pot with your right foot, step into the red powder, and enter with a happy smile. Go into the house and make it your home forever."

Tears filled Paridhi's eyes as she stood behind the veil, but she couldnโ€™t cry just yet.

She smiled, carefully lowered the urn with her right foot, and stepped inside with that same foot.

She placed both feet on the red powder plate, while Abhimaan helped her with her lehenga.

As she was about to lift her feet from the plate, Abhimaan grasped her hand to steady her. She held on tightly as they walked in together.

As Paridhi prepared to touch their feet, Abhimanyu stopped her and gave her a gentle pat on the head.

"Betiyon ko paon nahi chhoote hain. Ab aap rani hain, to kisi ke samne jhukne ki zaroorat nahi hai."

[Daughters don't touch feet. Now you're a queen, so you don't have to bow to anyone.]

Maithili kissed her forehead and said,

"Aaj humare ghar mein Lakshmi aayi hain."

[Today, the goddess of wealth has come to our home.]

Paridhiโ€™s eyes filled with tears, and she hugged Maithili, which made her smile.

"Paridhi, you look truly beautiful. Welcome to the family," Bhumi said, then kissed her forehead, causing Paridhi to cry a little.

Paridhi felt incredibly grateful.

"Thank you, Chhoti Maasa," she said softly.

Shivaay, Abhimaan's uncle, added,

"Hamen bahut khushi hai ki aap hamare saath ho, Paridhi. Bhagwan kare tum aur Abhimaan hamesha khush rahe."

[We're really happy you're with us, Paridhi. May you and Abhimaan always be happy together.]

"Welcome, Bhabhi Sa," Abhay said, touching her feet, making Paridhi feel awkward.

Unsure of what to say, she simply offered him a small smile, and he returned it.

"Why is everyone making Bhabhi Sa emotional?" Shivansh asked, and everyone laughed.

He approached her and was about to hug her when Abhimaan growled,

"Door rahiye."

[Stay away!]

Shivansh pouted and looked to the elders for help, but they just shrugged, which only made him more upset.

Then, laughter filled the air. Abhimaan gazed at his wife with affection as she chuckled.

When Paridhi realized her surroundings, she felt embarrassed and said,

"Maaf kariyega, hamara matlab yeh nahi tha... par hasi aa gayi."

[Sorry, I didn't mean to laugh... but I couldn't help it.]

Everyone admired her for speaking without hesitation.

Then Yashvi remarked,

"Oh, Bhabhi Sa, you're so cute," and pinched her cheeks.

Paridhi turned bright red. Abhimaan frowned at Yashvi for pinching her cheeks and made a face.

"You should go rest now. You must be tired. We'll do the rituals tomorrow."

Paridhi nodded, startled when Abhimaan lifted her in a bridal carry and began walking toward his room. Noticing her expression, he asked,

"Kya?"

[What]

She shook her head, but her eyes widened in shock as she realized it was her wedding night!

She had been so focused on the marriage that she completely forgot about this part.

The wedding night!

The most intimate moment between a husband and wife. She wasnโ€™t prepared for it.

Sheโ€™d never even thought about it before! Paridhiโ€™s mind was racing.

What if he got angry if she declined? But she couldnโ€™t bring herself to say yes.

"Paridhi?" Abhimaan's voice broke through her anxious thoughts.

"Are you okay? You look a little pale."

Paridhi turned to him, trying to sound composed.

"I'm fine, Rana sa," she said, but her trembling hands gave her away.

"It's just..." Abhimaan's expression softened with understanding.

"Hmm," he replied quietly.

To Paridhi's surprise, he offered her a gentle smile.

"Paridhi, you donโ€™t need to be scared. I know this is all new and might feel overwhelming. We can take it at your pace."

Paridhi blinked, surprised.

"We... we don't, Rana sa?"

Abhimaan shook his head.

"Not at all. Marriage isn't just about being close physically. It's also about trust and understanding each other. We have all the time we need to get to know one another. There's no reason to rush."

A wave of relief washed over Paridhi, and her eyes brimmed with tears.

"Thank you, Rana sa," she whispered.

Abhimaan nodded and added,

"We'll go slow. For now, letโ€™s just rest. It's been a long day."

Paridhi nodded, feeling lighter.
