Met?

Third Person's Pov:-

Viaanshi stepped out of the shower feeling refreshed.

Her mind was filled with thoughts of the children at the orphanage, the place she had called home for so long.

Though they weren't related by blood, Viaanshi loved them dearly and was determined to find a job to support them.

She sat down at her laptop, her stomach already full from an earlier meal.

As she scrolled through job listings, an advertisement caught her eye: "Anshvi Corporations Ltd," currently the most successful company in India.

They were looking for an Accountant Head, a position that matched her MBA qualifications perfectly.

Viaanshi's heart raced with excitement as she read the details.

The interview was scheduled for Tuesday, just two days away. It would be a tough process - a written exam followed by a group discussion.

She needed to score above 90% on the written test to even have a chance.

"I can do this," Viaanshi whispered to herself, pushing aside her doubts.

She dove into her studies, determined to succeed.

As the hours ticked by, Viaanshi found herself still awake at 4:00 AM.

Sleep often eluded her, a problem she sometimes solved with sleeping pills, though she was careful not to use them too often.

Instead of trying to force sleep, she decided to make use of the time and tidy up her room.

While cleaning, Viaanshi's mind wandered to the possibility of moving to Mumbai if she got the job.

She started packing her luggage, just in case if she doesn't qualify she'll still shift in Mumbai for better job opportunities.

As she folded her clothes and placed them in her trolley bag, her hand brushed against a small paper bag.

Her heart skipped a beat as she recognized it.

With trembling hands, Viaanshi pulled out the letter inside. Tears welled up in her eyes as she read the words:

"Tum meri woh adhuri kavita ho, jise main apni saari umr dena chahta hu."

"You are that incomplete poem of mine, which I want to devote my entire life to."

The tears she had been holding back flowed freely down her cheeks.

Quickly, she tucked the letter away, hiding it beneath her clothes as if to bury the emotions it stirred.

Viaanshi made her way to the balcony, gripping the railing tightly. The cool night air did little to calm the storm in her heart.

A single word escaped her lips, barely a whisper:

"Why?"

She pressed her hands against her mouth, trying to stifle her sobs as she looked up at the moon, her eyes closed tightly against the pain of memories.

Four days later, Viaanshi found herself walking towards the prayer room, her heart filled with gratitude.

She had gotten the job she interviewed for, and it felt like a blessing from above.

As she knelt to pray, she couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and sadness. This place had been her home for so long, and now she was leaving.

After her prayers, Viaanshi joined the others at the entrance. Tears were shed as she hugged each person, promising to stay in touch and urging them to take care.

The thing that Abeer would also be working for the same company brought her some comfort. As he was the only one she knew apart from the people of the orphanage.

Viaanshi stood at the Mumbai airport, waiting for her cab, but she couldn't shake the feeling that her life was about to change dramatically.

The city bustled around her, full of new sights and sounds, so different from the quiet life she had known.

Her new apartment turned out to be a cozy 2BHK flat, neither too big nor too small. It had a homely feel that put her at ease.

After unpacking and settling in, Viaanshi prepared a simple dinner of rice curry and orange juice, grateful for the cooking skills Asha aunty had taught her.

The next day, Viaanshi arrived at her new office, impressed by the interior that matched her taste simple yet classy and elegant.

Her cabin on the 28th floor offered a breathtaking view of lush greenery stretching as far as the eye could see. The tranquil scene filled her with a sense of calm and determination.

However, her excitement was tempered by the news that her team lead had a reputation for being stern.

Despite being new, they were already tasked with completing several files for a report due the next day.
Viaanshi set her jaw, ready to face the challenge head-on.

The following day, Viaanshi felt a sense of relief wash over her as she submitted her report on time.

As she headed towards the canteen for a much-needed break, she realized she had left her phone in her cabin. Turning back to retrieve it, she collided with someone.

Time seemed to slow down as Viaanshi braced herself for impact. Instead of falling, she felt a familiar touch.

Her eyes flew open, only to be met with a blur of images as tears welled up. Dizzy and disoriented, she heard a familiar voice calling her name, felt gentle pats on her cheeks urging her to wake up.

But the darkness was closing in, and Viaanshi slipped into unconsciousness.

Sometimes Before:-

Shreyansh was packing for yet another business trip to India. As he folded his clothes and placed them in his suitcase, his mind wandered to the past.

Time had flown by so quickly, he mused. Once, these business trips had been a welcome distraction, a chance to escape his thoughts when she was busy with her family.

Now, they were a constant, a way to avoid staying in one place for too long.

The memories of this place were painful, reminders of a time that had plunged him into a deep depression.

Shreyansh had turned to alcohol, unable to sleep at night, his pillow soaked with tears.

During those dark times, it was Ekaansh and his brothers who had stood by him, offering silent support.

Shreyansh had kept his struggles hidden from his family, not wanting to burden them with his pain.

It wasn't that he didn't love them; he simply preferred to shield them from his vulnerabilities.

There was only one person who had seen every facet of his being his joy, his anger, his sadness, and even his moments of weakness.

Despite his reputation for being ruthless, Shreyansh was, in truth, a deeply emotional person, especially when it came to his loved ones.

He had always preferred to keep his emotions hidden, leading others to assume he was cold and unfeeling.

But Shreyansh believed that everyone had an emotional side, regardless of gender. Society's expectations that men shouldn't show vulnerability were, in his opinion, misguided.

A knock on the door interrupted his thoughts. His aunt and maa entered, their smiles brightening the room.

Despite his protests, they insisted on preparing food for him, a gesture he couldn't refuse.

These two women were the epitome of stubbornness, and Shreyansh knew better than to argue.

As they packed the food for him, tears welled up in their eyes. Shreyansh felt a pang in his heart and pulled them into a tight hug, gently rubbing their backs to soothe them.

Their love for him knew no bounds; they would sacrifice anything for his well-being, even without him having to explain his reasons for wanting to leave.

After some time, their sobs subsided, and Shreyansh released them from the hug, silently signaling them not to cry.

They wiped away their tears and planted soft kisses on his forehead, their actions speaking volumes about their affection.

Touched by their gesture, Shreyansh hugged them once more, hiding his own tears.

As he made his way downstairs, his luggage already packed and placed in the car, Shreyansh respectfully bent down to touch everyone's feet, seeking their blessings.

His bodyguards and assistant waited by the car, the driver standing ready to open the door for him.

The journey to the airport was a blur of well-wishers and last-minute briefings from his assistant.

As they boarded his private jet, Shreyansh felt a strange mix of emotions anticipation, nervousness, and a hint of something he couldn't quite name.

Upon reaching the hotel in Mumbai, Shreyansh wasted no time in taking a cold shower to calm his racing thoughts.

As he changed into his usual three-piece suit, his eyes landed on the watch she had gifted him.

It was a special memento, one he considered his lucky charm. Usually, he left it behind on business trips, fearing he might lose it.

But this time, for reasons he couldn't explain, he had brought it with him.

After finishing his meal, Shreyansh headed to the office. As he reached the entrance, a strange feeling gripped his heart.

Pushing aside his thoughts, he made his way directly to the COO's cabin, engrossed in conversation with his assistant about the day's meetings.

Suddenly, he collided with someone, and time seemed to freeze.

Before him stood the person he had been searching for the past two years.

Tears of joy welled up in his eyes as he gazed at her, forgetting everything else around him.

Her eyes were shut tightly, and she held onto his shirt with a firm grip.

Despite her natural beauty, he noticed that she had lost weight since they last met.

Slowly, she opened her eyes, and as they met his, tears streamed down her face like a waterfall.

Overwhelmed with emotion, she collapsed into his arms, and in that moment, Shreyansh called out in disbelief,

"Call the doctor, dammit!"

Suddenly shreyansh noticed A man in his thirties appeared, noticing her fainting.

He began to call out her name while gently patting her cheeks, his voice filled with concern.
