Hate

Shreyansh's Pov:-

I was just staring at the door Aanshi had just walked through. My heart felt like it was breaking into a million pieces.

Tears streamed down my face, and I couldn't stop them. I couldn't believe what had just happened.

Aanshi, my Aanshi, had said such hurtful things to me.

My mind kept replaying her words over and over:

"I hate you."

How could she say that?

Didn't she remember all the love we shared?

I couldn't help but think back to the times when she used to tell me how much she loved me.

"You're my heartbeat, Shrey," she once said to me, her eyes full of love.

"Can anyone live without their heartbeat? No, just like I can't live without you. If there ever comes a time when you're not with me, I'll be alive, but I'll feel like a dead person."

Those words used to make me so happy. But now, they just made the pain worse. Everything had changed, and I didn't understand why.

Was it all my fault?

I must have done something terribly wrong for Aanshi to hate me so much.

"What did I do, Aanshi?" I whispered to the empty room.

"How did I hurt you so badly?"

Her casual way of saying

"I hate you" cut me deep. It was like she didn't even care about how her words would affect me.

The Aanshi I knew was always so thoughtful and kind.

She would never want to hurt anyone, especially not me.

But now, it seemed like she didn't care about my feelings at all.

"Have you really stopped caring about me, Aanshi?" I asked, even though she wasn't there to hear me.

"How can love turn into hate so quickly?"

I was so lost in my sad thoughts that I didn't even hear my phone ringing at first.

When I finally noticed, I saw it was a video call from Ekaansh, my best friend and Aanshi's older brother.

For a moment, I thought about not answering. I didn't want him to see me like this, all broken and crying. But I knew I had to tell him what happened.

I quickly wiped away my tears and tried to make myself look normal.

I drank some cold water to help calm down and clear my throat. Then, taking a deep breath, I answered the call.

"Hey, bro!" Ekaansh said with a big smile on his face.

"Took you long enough to pick up. What's up?"

"Aksh," I said, my voice barely above a whisper.

Right away, Ekaansh's smile disappeared. He must have heard something in my voice because he suddenly looked really worried.

"What happened, Ansh?" he asked, his voice full of concern.

"Is everything okay? Why do you sound like you've been crying?"

I took a shaky breath.

"I saw her, Aksh," I said, my voice breaking as I spoke.

Ekaansh's eyes went wide with shock.

"Are you sure?" he asked quickly.

Then he started talking fast, like he always does when he's excited.

"Go and bring her back with you! Oh, wait... I bet she probably wants to see everyone first before coming back, right?"

I could see his eyes turning red, like he was trying hard not to cry.

I knew him so well; we'd been best friends since we were little kids. I hated to ruin his happiness, but I had to tell him the truth.

"Why aren't you saying anything, Ansh?" Ekaansh asked, sounding more worried by the second.

"Say something. This is good news, isn't it?"

I took a deep breath, then said in a quiet voice,

"She hates us, Aksh."

"No, no, Ansh, you've got it all wrong," Ekaansh said, shaking his head hard.

"You know how much she loves us. She would even die to save us if she had to. You're mistaken. You're mistaken," he said again, like he was trying to convince himself more than me.

"She hates all of us," I said, my voice getting louder as the pain and frustration came out.

"She doesn't even want to see our faces."

Now Ekaansh was crying too. He looked like he couldn't believe what I was saying.

But whether he believed it or not, it was the sad truth we had to accept.

"We'll win her back, bro," he said softly, trying to sound determined even though I could hear the pain in his voice.

Then suddenly, he said much louder,

"We'll win her back, no matter what it takes!" It was so sudden that I jumped a little.

I knew Ekaansh could do anything when he really set his mind to it.

But now, I had to think about what he was saying and get ready for the hard times ahead.

"Please, Ansh," Ekaansh begged, his voice full of emotion.

"Do whatever you need to do. Just bring her back. None of us can live without her, except for someone," he said the last word with so much anger that it surprised me.

"Only you can do this, Ansh," he went on, his voice getting softer again.

"Bring her back to us, bring her back into your life. Don't give up on her so easily. Promise me you won't give up."

I nodded firmly, feeling a little bit of hope for the first time since Aanshi left.

"I will," I said.

"I promise. I'll do whatever it takes to bring her back."

After I ended the call with Ekaansh, I sat there for a long time, just thinking. My mind was racing with questions.

What had happened to change Aanshi so much?

The sweet, loving girl I knew seemed to have disappeared, replaced by someone full of anger and hate. It broke my heart to see her like this.

"I have to fix this," I said out loud to the empty room.

"I have to make her see that I still love her, that we all still love her.

But how?"

That was the big question. Aanshi had always been stubborn it was one of the things I loved about her.

But now that stubbornness was working against me. How could I break through the walls she had built around her heart?

I thought back to all the happy times we'd shared.

"Where did it all go wrong, Aanshi?" I asked, wishing she could answer me.

"How did we go from being so in love to this?"

I stood up and started walking back and forth across the room. I couldn't sit still. My mind was working overtime, trying to come up with a plan.

"Think, Shreyansh, think," I muttered to myself.

"There has to be a way to reach her. There has to be a way to make her remember how much we love each other"

But one thing is for sure that I'll win her back at any cost.

I wouldn't let what happened before control our future.

I was sure we could get past this problem together. We would make new, happy memories to treasure.

Meanwhile Viaanshi has reached to her apartment by cab. She was crying hysterically. She couldn't control herself after seeing him in front of her.

As she opened the door of the apartment she directly went to the balcony and started to look at the sky. She was remembering her past while looking at this. Which has both sweet and bitter memories.
