Third Person's Pov
At the hospital, the ICU was noisy with urgent voices, making family members outside feel scared.
They were worried about losing the mother, whose pregnancy was risky. Even though doctors warned her, she wanted to have her baby.
The baby had to come two months early, which was dangerous. No one could go inside, so loved ones waited nervously in the hallway.
A man walked back and forth, trying not to cry. He loved his wife very much and didn't want to lose her or their baby.
Then, after a long wait, the ICU door opened. A doctor came out looking worried.
"We can only save one - the baby or the mother. Please choose quickly and sign the papers. The mother is in danger. We can't risk her life."
As the doctor spoke, Vivaan Raichand felt like time stopped. Then, his mother put her hand on his shoulder to comfort him.
"Vivaan, don't worry. Everything will be okay," his mother said.
Vivaan, standing by his wife Anamika's bed, could barely speak.
"Mom, they... they said they can't save her. How can I... how can I kill my own child? I couldn't live with myself if I did that."
"But we need to decide fast, dear. We have to pick Anamika, or else... you know what will happen," Sushma Raichand, Vivaan's mother, said urgently.
She loved her grandsons but had old-fashioned ideas and didn't like baby girls.
Vivaan whispered very quietly,
"Save Anamika," as he signed the papers. His younger brother Yuvaansh tried to make him feel better.
"Be patient, brother. It will be okay," Yuvansh Raichand said.
He and Vivaan were only one year apart, so they were more like best friends.
As they waited, they suddenly heard a baby cry. Everyone got scared, and Vivaan whispered,
"Anamika," thinking something bad had happened.
He started to cry, and so did everyone else.
Then, the doctors came out smiling.
"Congratulations, Mr. Raichand. It's a miracle. Both mother and baby are safe now," they said.
Everyone felt happy and relieved. Vivaan cried with joy, and so did the others.
But the doctor warned them,
"The mother is sleeping because of medicine, but the baby needs special care. We have to take her to a special baby room because she's weak and having trouble breathing. We don't know how she'll be yet. Let's hope for the best," the doctor said, then patted Vivaan's shoulder and left.
Suddenly Yuvansh asked,
"She, means - it's a beautiful baby girl Mr. Raichand?"
The doctor nodded, cutting him off.
Everyone smiled happily. Yuvansh hugged Vivaan tightly, feeling very happy.
"Bro, we got what we wanted. Finally, after so many years, a girl is born in our family. We're so lucky, bro. God gave us an angel," he said, with happy tears in his eyes.
Vivaan and Yuvansh grew up without sisters. For seven generations, no girls were born in their family, so they really wanted a daughter.
But Sushma wasn't happy. She was very angry and tried to hide it as she spoke.
"Son, don't you think this girl brings bad luck to our family? Look how Anamika almost died because of her. We should only care about Anamika and let this girl die."
"Mom-" Both Yuvansh and Vivaan said at the same time, making Sushma jump.
"That's the first and last time you'll say something like that. If you say it again, you'll see how worse I can get," Yuvaansh said very seriously.
Vivaan didn't say anything. He was still thinking about everything that happened, feeling very confused.
Sushma was scared. She had never seen her usually nice son, Yuvaansh, act so strongly.
Vivaan being quiet also made her worried. She nodded without saying anything and went to Anamika's room.
As she took care of Anamika, Sushma worried a lot. She didn't like how her sons were so protective of the new baby girl.
She was scared about what might happen as the girl grew up.
Vivaan also went to see Anamika. He wanted to hold her hand and make sure she was okay.
They couldn't see the baby girl yet because of germs. Meanwhile, Yuvaansh called his wife Aradhana to tell her about the baby. Aradhana was at home taking care of their children.
A few days ago, Yuvaansh's friend died in an accident. He left behind his only son, Siddharth, who was almost two.
There was also Vivaan and Anamika's oldest child, Ekaansh, and Yuvansh and Aradhana's twins, Avyaan and Ayaan, who were all almost two years old.
Aradhana answered the phone, sounding very happy.
"We have a baby girl, darling! Finally!" she said excitedly.
Aradhana was so happy because they loved all the children equally, whether they were their own or adopted.
When Yuvaansh and Aradhana found out Anamika was pregnant, Aradhana really hoped it would be a girl.
Aradhana quickly ended the call and started getting ready for the baby girl to come home.
Ekaansh saw how excited she was and asked in his cute baby voice,
"Why are you so happy chhoti maa (aunt)?"
Aradhana said,
"You all have a baby sister now, boys! You're all big brothers now. You have to take special care of her, okay?"
They all nodded and smiled widely, then went to get a gift for her. Siddharth stood there looking confused because he didn't know what to give her.
Aradhana picked him up and hugged him, making him snuggle into her neck. She smiled at how cute he was and carried him away.
Meanwhile at the hospital:
Vivaan sat next to Anamika, gently stroking her hair. After a while, Anamika woke up and looked at Vivaan.
"Where's our daughter, Vivaan?" she asked, sounding worried and wanting to see her.
"She was so cute, Vivaan. She even smiled at me," Anamika said, starting to cry.
"But they took her away even though I didn't want them to."
Vivaan hugged her, feeling worried about their daughter too.
"Shh, calm down, Anu. She's safe. She's just a little weak because she was born early, so they're watching her closely," he said, trying to sound calm even though he was scared.
Suddenly Yuvaansh came in looking very worried and said,
"Bhai, the baby is having trouble breathing. The doctor said she doesn't have enough blood. They want you to come quickly!"
Hearing this, Vivaan and Anamika got very scared. Anamika said,
"I'll come too."
But Vivaan said,
"No, I'll go. I don't care about myself. I just want her to be safe."
Vivaan sighed and told Yuvaansh to get a wheelchair. Soon, they got to the special room where Sushma, their mother, was waiting.
Without anyone noticing, she had a mean smile on her face.
Suddenly, the doctors came out with urgent news.
"We need O-negative blood, which is rare. We don't have it in our blood bank. Please find some soon, or..." they stopped talking, sounding very serious.
Right away, Yuvaansh said,
"I have that blood type, doctor. Take as much as she needs. Just please, save her."
Everyone was very surprised. They had never heard Yuvaansh Raichand say "please" like that before.
The doctors quickly took the blood. Everyone outside the room felt very tense. It felt like time was moving very slowly as they waited to hear about the baby.
Finally, after what seemed like a very long time, the doctors came out with good news.
"She's not in danger now. Don't worry. You can take her home with your wife in one or two days, Mr. Raichand," they said.
Everyone felt relieved and started smiling, happy that things turned out well.
After two days:
Two days later, Anamika and the baby were ready to go home to the mansion.
Everyone was excited to meet the new baby. The doctors had warned about germs, so they were careful, but now the baby was completely healthy.
Anamika was very happy, especially because her parents were coming from India after being away for a year.
Even though they were from India, they had moved to New York for work. Now, reunited with her daughter, Anamika was very excited.
Meanwhile, Vivaan went to get the baby, eager to hold her. At the door of the special room, Yuvaansh and Vivaan stood, feeling very excited.
They had recently won awards for being the Best Businessman and Entrepreneur of the Year, and they thought their daughter was their good luck charm. They couldn't wait to finally meet her and be with her.
Suddenly, a nurse came into the room holding the baby in a soft, blue towel. The baby had her tiny thumb in her mouth.
The nurse offered the baby to Vivaan first, since he was the father, but he nicely told her to give the baby to Yuvansh first.
He did this because Yuvaansh had given blood to save the baby's life.
When Yuvansh gently picked her up, he started to cry as he looked at her. She was wearing a cute blue hat to keep her warm.
When she opened her eyes and looked around, Yuvaansh thought she was so innocent and beautiful.
Feeling so much love, he softly kissed her forehead and whispered,
"Welcome to the world, princess. I'll always protect you."
Vivaan held her carefully, his heart full of love as he looked at how tiny she was.
Even though he had four children at home, he was amazed at how small she was at just seven months old.
She looked like a little goddess, which made her even more charming. As he thought about her growing up, he felt very protective and possessive.
Kissing her forehead gently, Vivaan said in a protective way,
"I'll beat up any boy who tries to come near you in the future."
Yuvaansh agreed, feeling just as protective. Meanwhile, Sushma was very angry about how much attention the baby girl was getting.
She thought the girl child shouldn't have been born, which made her dislike the baby.
As they stood at the main entrance of the mansion, Aradhana welcomed them warmly.
Just as Anamika took a step forward, holding the baby in her arms, Sushma's phone rang, making everyone look at her.
Anamika stopped walking and looked at Sushma. Sushma's face turned white as she heard the news on the phone.
"Anamika, your parents were in an accident. They... they didn't survive," Sushma said, giving them terrible news.
