The Reason

Note:The past has been ended in the last chapter. But in this chapter, we'll see the same past event from Shreyansh's point of view. Then we'll learn why they were silent. The chapter starts in the present, and I'll tell you when the past part begins. If you're confused, you can ask me, and I'll explain. That's enough now๐Ÿ˜…. Let's get back to the story.

Shreyansh's Pov:-

PRESENT

As I stand in front of the mirror, getting ready for work, I'm taking extra care with how I look today.

Some might call it clingy, but I want to catch Aanshi's eye. I'm wearing a black suit with a white shirt underneath, just how she likes it. I want to make a good impression.

I know deep down she still feels the same way. But she's scared of getting hurt again. All I want is for her to listen to me.

I want us to have a chance to fix things, to go back to how we were. Whoever tried to come between us, to cause this problem, I'll make sure they pay.

But I want Aanshi to be the one to punish them. After all, she's the one who's been hurt the most by all this.

As I'm thinking, my phone rings. It's Aanshi's bodyguard calling, the one I secretly hired to keep her safe. I can't risk anything happening to her now.

When I hear what the bodyguard says, I get very angry. I squeeze my fists to control my anger. I quickly grab my wallet and handkerchief and leave.

When I get to my car, my bodyguards and driver are already waiting. They say hello, but I just nod. I'm in a bad mood.

I get in the back of the car.

"Drive to the restaurant near the office," I tell the driver.

When we get there, I get out, put on sunglasses, and keep my hands in my pockets. I stand in a hidden spot where no one can see me.

But I keep watching Viaanshi. She's with that jerk, Abeer Malhotra. I notice everything about him, wanting to show Viaanshi what he's really like.

But I get angry when I see Abeer looking at her for too long, while she doesn't notice what he's really thinking. First, I need to get Aanshi to forgive me.

She looks beautiful in a cute white top and matching skirt, with her hair down.

She looked so beautiful, it took my breath away without even trying.

My heart hurts seeing her smile and laugh with that creep.

Doesn't she see how he's looking at her?

Like she's just a thing he wants?

I have to do something before he ruins everything. I quickly text the bodyguard to get Aanshi away safely if things go wrong.

After some time, Abeer said goodbye to Viaanshi and left. I went up to her then. I gently held her waist and pulled her closer to me.

She was surprised and tried to get away. I didn't let go. Finally, she stopped moving and looked at me. A tear fell from her eye as she spoke, her voice sad and shaky.

"Why are you chasing me now, Shreyansh? I'm already broken, and I don't have the strength to get hurt again."

As she spoke, I loosened my grip. She gently moved away from me. She walked towards the office building.

I stood still, watching her walk away until I couldn't see her anymore. Feeling sad, I went back to the car and sat in the back seat.

As we drove away, I started thinking about the day when she moved away from me, and when she started to hate me.

Flashback

The day when Shreya talked about Tanya marrying Shrey:

Third Person's Pov:-

That morning, Shreyansh got a strange message :

"Stay away from Viaanshi, or she'll get hurt. Remember."

He was very angry, but he controlled himself. He quickly called someone and said,

"I'm sending you a number with a message. Send me all the details about it by evening." The person he called understood and hung up.

Meanwhile, Anaya and Adhiraj noticed that Shreyansh and Viaanshi were falling in love.

Today, Anaya decided to talk to Anamika about it, not knowing the real relationship between Anamika and Viaanshi. She called Anamika and said,

"Hi, Anamika. I hope I'm not bothering you."

"Not at all. I'm good, thank you. How are you? What's on your mind?" Anamika answered kindly.

"Um, Anamika, there's something I wanted to talk about," Anaya said nervously.

"Of course, go ahead. Don't be shy," Anamika said.

"Actually, I wanted to talk about something with you," Anaya started.

Anamika got interested,

"Sure, go ahead."

"I hope you don't mind, but I want to suggest a marriage between our families. I've seen that your daughter and my son, Shreyansh, like each other. They seem to have feelings for each other, and I thought it would be nice to surprise them by announcing their relationship at a small party tonight. Would that be okay with you?" Anaya explained.

Anamika was very happy,

"Oh, more than okay! I'm so happy. I've always thought Shreyansh would be perfect for my daughter. We'll definitely be there."

They ended the call, and Anamika excitedly told Tanya the news. Tanya was very happy that their plan was working.

They quickly told everyone else, getting ready for the party.

(as written in the previous chapters)

When Viaanshi came to the Oberois' house, Tanya followed her secretly, trying to stop her from talking to Shreyansh.

As they went in, Tanya made sure her brothers didn't see her. But then she met Anaya on the roof, who looked at her suspiciously.

"What are you doing here alone? Where is everyone else?" Anaya asked, sounding worried.

"Um, Aunt, I wanted to talk to Ansh alone before we tell everyone about our relationship," Tanya lied, pretending to be shy.

"What?!" Anaya said, very surprised.

"Why are you shouting, Aunt? You asked for me to marry him, didn't you?" Tanya said, sounding impatient.

"I asked for Viaanshi to marry him, not you," Anaya said, rubbing her head because she was frustrated.

"What?" Tanya said, surprised, as she realized her dreams were falling apart.

As Tanya heard someone coming, she thought it was Viaanshi. Smiling meanly to herself, she looked angrily at Anaya and moved closer to her.

Anaya looked at her suspiciously, but before she could do anything, Tanya pushed her hard. Anaya screamed as she fell to the ground, hurt.

Tanya quickly ran and hid nearby, hoping Viaanshi wouldn't see her.

Meanwhile, when Viaanshi heard Anaya scream, she ran to help, but found Anaya already on the ground.

At the hospital, while Shreyansh was watching over Anaya, he got another message. It said:

"Do what I say, or I'll make the bomb in her shoes explode right now. Believe me, even though it's small like an ant, it'll make such a big explosion, you won't even recognize her body."

He looked at Viaanshi's shoes and saw something strange on the front.

Wanting to protect her, he did what the message said, saying things he didn't mean to say.

When Ekaansh came close, Shreyansh secretly sent the message to her brothers and everyone else, except Anamika, to keep Viaanshi safe.

He couldn't risk Viaanshi getting hurt. But Anamika's angry words surprised everyone.

After Viaanshi left, everyone was quiet and sad. Without waiting, Vivaan walked up to Anamika and slapped her face hard. Anamika's eyes got big as she looked back, confused.

"How dare you say such mean things to my daughter, Anamika? How could you? Can't you see how much she's hurting, how much she's suffering? Today, you've broken her completely. And listen, I'll never forgive you for it. You know what? Now I'm sorry I married you, even loved you. Just as much as you're sorry she was born,"

Vivaan's voice shook with anger and disappointment. Anamika was crying, but she didn't wipe her tears.

Suddenly, Tanya stepped forward, sounding angry,

"How could you-"

Ekansh stepped forward, looking very sad.

"How could you do that, Mumma? Slap her like that?"

Anamika lifted her head proudly.

"She deserved it after what she did."

"But we don't know for sure she did anything!" Ekansh cried.

"You didn't even let her explain!"

Anamika was about to say something, but Tanya interrupted her smoothly.

"Of course she did it. I saw her fighting with Anaya aunty just before she fell."

Vivaan looked very upset.

"Viaanshi wouldn't...she"

Shreyansh stayed quiet, his face looking pale and tired.

Tanya shook her head, pretending to be sad.

"I know it's hard to believe, but we can't ignore the facts. Your sister can do such bad things."

But Ekaansh quickly stepped in, stopping her,

"We'll talk about this at home. You go home with Mom."

Later, Shreyansh got a message from his investigator. It said that the number that sent the scary messages was registered under Anamika Raichand's name.

Shreyansh's eyes got angry as he told everyone this. Everyone looked as angry as he did. But Shreyansh said they shouldn't do anything right away.

"I want Viaanshi to be the one to face them," he said firmly.

They agreed and went to the mansion to tell Viaanshi. But when they got there, they couldn't find her.

"Viaanshi?" Shreyansh called out, feeling scared.

"Jaan, where are you?"

They looked all over the mansion, but she wasn't there.

"She's not here," Ekansh said sadly after looking for hours.

Vivaan ran his hand through his hair, feeling frustrated.

"Where could she have gone?"

They asked a private detective to help, but he couldn't find anything useful either. It was like Viaanshi had just disappeared.

They all felt very sad that she was gone. Shreyansh walked back and forth, looking very worried.

"What if something happened to her? What if she's..." He couldn't finish what he was saying.

"Don't think like that, bro," Ekansh said.

"We have to think good thoughts. Princess is strong, she'll be okay."

Shreyansh nodded and hugged him.
